I have 16.5x12.5 rims.  currently on it are 33x12.5.16.5 tires.  some say that this is tooskinny of a tire for the rim.  it hardly seats when we get it on the tire machine but it does seat with some work.  should i be using a 14.5 wide tire?  give some input need help before i buy new set. thanks

I would not worry about it. If tires are seated, run them. Also, I would lean toward a narrower rim than you have now than a wider tire on current rim if I was to change anything for what it is worth.

well i dont got a lot of money and i have tires that are seated and that will work i was just wondering for future reference?  and why do you suggest running smaller rim?  just a question  i personally like a wider tire set up for stance and contact patch reasons but i think it gives the truck a better look.  and i have a buddy of mine that runs 14.5's on 10.5 wheels so im pretty sure its possible to run some wider ones
