4l60e 93-95 vs 96-

What is the diffrence between the 93-95 and the 96-(whatever year thay changed) 4l60e trans in a chevy 4x4 truck.

Nothing to speak of. There might have been some wiring/connector style changes but internally they were the same. BTW, a 4L60e is nothing more than a 700R4 with a ECM controlled valve body. After mid 90's (around 98 or so) GM started to cheapen up some of the parts in it and this continues until about 05 when they finally replaced most of these cost cutter weaker parts due to ongoing tranny problems with them.

Yes. In 92 they used a 700R4 but they renamed it a 4L60 without the "e"
|

93 and 94 were the first "E" with no MLSPS switch on the shift linkage. 95 introduced PWM and only good for that year. 96 on pretty much the same other than input shaft changes and removable bell housings etc.
