Hello, I have a 93 nissan pathfinder XE automatic 3.0 4x4. Truck drives excellent in 2wheel, but as soon as I shift it in 4wheel it is all over the road. Feels just like when your tie rod end is shot (but it's not) Only does this in 4 wheel. I only use 4 hi because I cannot shift in in lo. Any suggestions would be great. Just started doing this after 1 month having it in 4wheel

can you explain it's all over the road?

It could very well be a worn centerlink or tie rod ends

The truck shifts to the left and right even when the steering wheel is centered.  Only does this in 4wheel NOT 2wheel.

have you jacked the SUV up and move you wheels around to see if there are play?  Shake it holding top and bottom to check your ball joint and side to side to check play in the steering

I suspect ball joint or control arm bushing issues that when wheel torque is applied to front axle it changes alignment. It is 16 years old now and things do wear out.
