I have a 94 Gmc sierra Z71 and it is pullin to the right. I have had the truck aligned and the brakes bled so they are not pullin. but when i took my wheel and tire off i couldnt rotate the rotor. What could be doin this?

stuck rotor, which will also make it pull.

Sometimes a sticky caliper can cuase pads to drive but generally if that is the case it show up when you brake and pulls them because the sticky one will cause pads to get hot and they will not grip as well as the colder one and it will pull toward the non sticky side when braking. I suspect that there is a alignment issue here as factory spec are kinda a guide line  and due to to production tolerance and vehicle mods they need to be tweaked. Another alignment shop worth its salt could look at what truck is doing and load/adjust the caster and camber to correct this problem.

If you can't turn the tire when its off the grount it's 1 of 3 things. First a bad brake caliber. Second a collapsed brake hose, yes a bad brake hose, or if it's equipped with anti lock brakes an anti lock issue(pray it's not this) Good luck.

It is not unusual for a disc brake to hold a bit when you stop and park it. Sometimes it takes motion of rotor to release pads.

If you can't turn the tire with it off the ground,I mean turn the TIRE, then there is a brake issue. Yes, to try to turn just the rotor would be harder.

I he may have a sticking caliper but if he did it would tend to overheat and then pull away for that wheel when it warms up. Especially when braking. I had this happen once and it cooked the rotor blue and was smoking.

Hello I know what your problem is. I have a 94 as well and this same problem haunted me for 1 year I just found that the driver side brake hose was obstructed and acted as a damper and would not let fluid flow back so the truck would pull to the right under braking. Brake fluid will flow through the line under pressure however you will not be able to blow air through the line.

I spent $15 on a new driver side brake hose installed it and problem was solved. I just finished it today. I hope this helps you out before you spend any more *** I spent over $300 before I found it was a $15 part.
