Hey All, I've always dreamed of building a nice rig and the opportunity arose a few months ago. I purchased a used 92 Wrangler w/ 96,000 miles and I just tried using 4WD Hi. It makes a hella vibration if I get 30MPH and over. Any ideas? I'm still green to the mechanics of it and I'm anxious to gettin out and rippin up some countryside. Thanks.

My first thought is the front driveshaft is probably not balanced...especially for over 30mph. Do you feel the shimmy in the steering wheel or more in your seat?

My first guess is U-joints in front drive shaft or possibly in axle steering knuckles.

Could be a bent front drive shaft

I no not think so. My nickle is on Ujoints. (that or front drive shaft angles are way out of whack)
