Time to plan some bad ars wheeling trips!!!
Ive already posted about Mojave road which EVERYONE SHOULD try and make haha. Places i want to camp/wheel and fish this year.
Chris and Shaynas wedding at wherever they want.
Monanche meadows/sherman pass off the 395.
Mammoth Ca also further up the 395
some new trials in big bear like heart brake ridge, rattlesnake canyon etc etc...
Anzo borrego coyote canyon.
I would say lets do the desert stuff in the spring/winter. mammoth and monanche in the summer.

what about a rubicon trip? isn't there some trails near the Fresno area? Also, don't forget about the Moab trip in 2009 for any that can make it.

Plan on picking up the K5 over the holidays, and will drive it down to Valencia. There'll be lots to do, and will look into rebuilding / changing out the 700R tranny, tuning the engine and getting ready to join you guys on some runs. Lookin gforward to it

Heya guys, the Moab trip is in it's planning stage. So far the general plan is that we're looking at heading there between April 18 through the 25. If any of you guys can make it it'd be cool. Also I found a pretty good deal on a place to stay while in Moab. The Big Horn lodge where George stayed at was pretty nice and looks like to be ~$45 - $50 a night.

from la its about 4hrs....where LA? i make it in 3 hrs and im in riverside....glamis aside from the awesome secenery of endless sand dunes and ocasional hot chick on a bike ....is also pretty challenging wheeling if you go into the dunes....the light weight jeep guys seem to go everywhere if they have a little skill but us heaver full size trucks need some decent tires and good know how to not get stuck....belive me it gets your adrenaline pumping!!!!!cuz one minutie your flooring it so you don't get stuck..the next minuite your stomping your brake to see whats on the other side of the dune!!! with your tires aired down to like 10 psi you can do pretty well even in a stock truck...

Came back from visiting the parents in Tahoe, but didn't drive the K5 back down. The steering seems REALLY loose and the engine needs some serious tuning. Besides, we have been low on funds since we've been paying two mortgages. We just rented out our house, and we should be in a much better position - $ to work on the Blazer and finally get some wheeling done.
Unfortunately, the Blazer in my only 4x4. I have a trail bike (Honda 230), but my Commander in 4x2 and wouldn't be able to take me places
