How hard would this be???

You would have to change tranny, ECM and add a TCM (transmission control module)

Well the Chevy Suburbans with the 8.1 use the 4l80E, it wouldn't bolt up?

We have been over this before. The 4.3, SB, BB, 6.2, 6.5 and Dmax have same bellhousing bolt pattern, the 4.8/5.3 and 6.0 have a different bolt pattern.
