I have a 1990 GMC K1500 the tranny is a 700R4 with a kick down cable it wont stop leaking around the kick down cable put new o-ring and then tried silcone still leaks pretty bad so i come up with the tranny being craked only thing i can think of. but I have a 1995 GMC K2500 with 700R4 but it has electric kick down, I was wondering how would I go about hooking that up to my 1990. if anyone can help please let me know.

A K2500 never had a 700R4. It had a 4L80e (which is a THM400 with OD and a locking converter added to it) The 700R4 (which is basically a modified THM350 with OD added) became a 4L60e in 93 which is nothing more than a 700R4 with a electrically controlled valve body.
