I would like to know can you bolt up a 283 chevy motor to a Chevy turbo 350, 700r4, or 200 transmission

Bolt pattern is the same on all SB Chevies. The only fly in the ointment here is that SB 400 is externally balance and takes a different flywheel or flex plate to balance it but otherwise it is the same too.
