Hi, I'm just wondering if there are any major, visisble differences between Edelbrock's "Chevy 283" and "305" (if produced)??

Thanks.

the 283's have a pvc tube in the rear of the block, some have an oil filler tube also in the intake manifold, and non vented factory valve covers, 305's do not.

edelbrock versions are likely identicle aside from the bore and stroke.

The last few years the 283 was built it had normal PVC location (ie not in back of block) I transplanted a 67 283 once long ago and it was not old style PVC.
