Splines are wrong and bolt pattern may be too. You will need a adapter. GM standardized output splines around 85 to 32 and mounted bolt pattern too. You could simply use a NP 208 or NP241 our a 88 thru 91 full sized blazer or burb. It would make swap easier and give you a deeper low range and a Tcase that weight about 50 lbs less that a 205 too.

I have been around 4wd's for over 40 years and when chain drive Tcases first came on market I was very apprehensive about them. I have found over the year though that if you service them regulalry with fresh lube and use proper gears in axles for tire sizes (so you are not living in 4lo of road to make it go) that they hold up quite well. My 2000 K3500 has had a hard life pushing snow for 9 years now and I have had zero problems with its chain driven Tcase and it has worked hard that off road a lot of times. I do change fluid in it before each winter season too.

I am confused here, a 91 burb 241 would have a front drive shaft on passenger side. A 92 and later burb would have it on drivers side. Which Tcase do you have???

Somebody is pulling a fast one because it is a 92 body style Tcase. Since many 92 Tcases were actually built in 91 for 92 model year maybe they were looking at date of manufacture of Tcase which could have easily been built in 91.
