Hey folks
I saw in fourwheeler at some event a few of the folks ran tractor tires, and thought that was cool.
I have a 93 Jeep I would like to do that and switch off between street slicks and the tractor tires for offroad events, trails rides.
googling it and cant find the specs or information to install tractor tires in normal 15x7 or 16x7 rims?
anyone have any suggestions? thanks
mike

You should be able to find Ag Bobcat tires that will fit those or older 16.5 rims. You do not want to drive fast even off road with them because tires are not built for that and tractor cleat tires are terrible on hard slick surfaces or slick side hills. Their focus is flat land, soft ground and straight pulls. Bite/traction is also reduced a good bit in reverse too.

I have been running tractor tires on my 1984 Nissan Stanza AWD wagon for at least five years. I use it on our farm to do chores. I have never been stuck in the worst conditions. I pull the kids up our sled riding hill with a trailer attached in the winter. I love the way this has worked out. Sadly the frame on the Stanza gave out last month. I am replacing it with a 95 Dodge Dakota 4x4. I am putting tractor tires on it this weekend.
I have often said that if I could get a wheel up on a tree I could climb it with those tractor tires.
Have fun. Go slow. Stay safe.
