i have a 97 chev 4x4 with a 9 inch lift and 38 inch tires. i was wondering if any one knows of a conversion kit to put a 5.9l cummins and drivetrain in it. i have the ability to purchase a doner truck for all the arts i need.i was just thinking it would be easier to start with a kit.

Better also consider the extra 600 to 700 lbs of weight in front from this conversion which nobody seems to consider. (CTD is about 1200 lbs before you factor in dual batteries, bigger radiator and intercooler weight). It can make front end a great boat anchor in deep mud as many CTD owner have found out the hard why. A BB is a much better option here off road.
