I was up the other early morning and i was playing dirt on my 360, ya get to set up your wagon, which brings me to my point, there is a way to set the amount of lock you get from the corr trucks diffs, also the amount of loose so you can go round the corners without spinning out. so here it is, is there a real life analog to this??? hmm hmm? when ya set the likkle wagon right, you can turn without the front end pushing in a over steer, or uselessly spining in a 1 tire fire. same for the back, if its loose enough you can power through a corner under control and not spin. whats cool is if you play wit it enough, you can set the F/R torque split and the "bias"? in the diffs and drive through the corners. is this a real life aspect of tuning a four by? coz its cool when ya set the 60/40 split in the t/case and when ya go into a corner the diff unlocks just enough to corner tight, and as ya git on the gas, the front wheels pull ya around nary a spin. so if you can buy or set up a diff like that, do ya? think of the more fun you would have in your wagon as you tear around that gravelly fire road and it all comes together!

You're thinking too complex for our 4x4's. Cars like the EVO and STI can be set up this way easily, big truck with 2-speed cases not so much. The amount of control you have in Dirt with the CORR trucks doesn't necessarily line up with how you can set up a 'real' CORR truck...
Love the game though, it's my favorite for 360!

AWWWRIGHT! soon as this nuub figgurs out how to go online ...uhh and finish the game i'll see ya fellers on line..gotta warn ya, I suck at the game but if a combination wreck rally and tuning run are up yer ally?? I was just curiuos, coz i rmrmber reading here bout some folkes setting up their detroits"or auburns a little tighter with shims or some such. it be cool to have a arb or ox with extra capy. adjusting screws or somesuch to fine tune the lock and loose! Ime glad there was someone here who new what the heck I was talking bout! My next deal is to git the steering wheel for it and really scare the game into submission! I never played GTA, but i liked forza and gt3 and 4, thay got a dodge ram in gt3 racing against the imports, and you can upgrade! maybe we aughta have the first inter maggazine nationals? the DiRT CORR nats? then we can challenge the other mags ta a showdown! grrrr!
