I bought the jeep and didnt get info on size of lift, i have some vibration in front end and it doesnt look like it has a drop pitman arm, im thinking the suspension is by elka as there is a sticker on the dash, fits 33's with no trimming, how can i find how much lift it has?  Also how much lift before needing a sye with np 242, what about long travel yokes?

4.5 is cutting er close on 33's

you only need a drop arm if you also have the trackbare droped, they have to bolth be parallel or will cause bumpsteer.

they should get a sye and cv at 4"

It was the drivers front tire, it was out of balance, it was off 15 ounces on the inside  now i have no more death wobble

15 ounces? holy crap! How'd they balance that? Hang a brick from the valve stem? I would seriously question that tire. I would wonder if the rim was damaged or if the tire was bad to begin with. Even a tire that size should not take that kind of weight to balance.

he used those stick on weights, my old blazer had a set of chunked up  35" gumbo monster mudders and when i had them mounted and balanced the where like 21 ounces off on one side and 10 on the other and he got them to about 3-5 ounces. The jeep rides smooth now no vibration at all.
