can you post a pic of it (off google)?

I use xray m18t steering and a larger than stock servo, so my setup is a little different, but let me see the part you mean, I might have it, I got a bunch of spares (building up a 2nd one..)

Brian is going to be in Glamis. Looks like it's going to be you and I unless I can talk Jon into tagging along (if he's not working).

Hey Art, I got a new starter box battery set up. I picked up a 19.9 volt craftsman pack, same one use for my tools. I got some spade connectors and it works great!!! The battery is lighter than the gel pack or the optima u lug around. Try it out if u have cordless tools

hmm that is an awesome idea, I will keep it in mind.

like I said, I'm converting the picco to pull start, forget starter box + big block on a revo, pain in the arse.

and the buggy starts up fine with the regular 12 volt, so I won't need to change just for that

its been like 4 months since I ran my stuff...  life is very broken right now, but i'm tying up loose ends and will join you guys out on the track shortly. need some mooooney!

ya we did.  Revo is dead, needs a new one way bearing, Slash went broke back, someone crash into Jason in mid air (so he said) hahahha.  The Losi did GREAT! it clear the big jump twice.  but the driver side rod end keeps popping out.  I need to get a new rod end to stop that from happening.

The brushless slash was impossible to control on the track, it keep spinning out. it needs new tires and a locker.

Hey now! lol

I had it lined up for the big double, hit it square and just as the truck went off the lip I got rear ended by a buggy. Did a couple flips in the air and landed flat on the wheels breaking the rear shock tower screws. I bet if it would have landed upside down or anyway but flat it probably would have been fine, ironic huh. Ooops. Sorry Spencer.

My Slash was a little easier to control since it's stock but still a nightmare on the dusty track. They weren't watering enough. When we took the Slash's out right after they would water they ran great!

Lets see, damage count, Slash roasted a spur gear and the pinion was badly worn, so I swapped those. And after a big hit something in the steering was off so I replaced the bell crank with an aluminum one that Traxxas sent me with the truck, for the heck of it.

Slayer just wouldn't run right. It's so out of tune it's not even funny. Once I got it idling I put the body on and headed for the track... yea... couldn't keep it running. Oh well. Anybody want a good deal on a Slayer?

And I never took the TMaxx out of the truck. The stupid Slayer frustrated me enough.

Oh, and my wallet was lighter because they raised their prices, and my stomach was lighter because the taco guy wasn't there. Lame.

Still a good day.

tried to recover the rear shock tower, but it didn't work.  I am going to hop it up front and back with new shocks and some new tires so i can get better traction.
