the lipo I threw away as soon as I could. After I saw smoke, I quickly unplugged it and got rid of it, it got REAL hot, if I left it in, I'd have a little piece of coal for an R/C now! The ESC was shorted so there was just a burn spot. I picked up a new one with some left over gift cards I had for 60 bucks at Hobbypeople. I'm goign to take the lipo I have in the transmitter and put that in the R/C, and use some regulars for now instead

I don't know why they are such little fireballs. I've seen plenty of videos of them catching on fire so I'm definitely on the aware side. I think they catch on fire if shorted or discharged too fast. But its spooky... definitely hope I never get to deal with one catching fire

Sure, let's find a time to do it!

My Slash is down with a broken spur gear, and I haven't cleaned the Slayer since the last time out so I really should take it apart and replace the clutch that I toasted running it on the beach. And the T-Maxx is still broken with the front and rear diffs popping out of the bulk heads (stupid RPM bulkheads).

So yea, guess I should do some maintainance over the weekend... lol

So my fancy new shocks for the rc18t are pretty much crap when it comes to strength, played around at home broke the top part, then at Azuza the shaft bent. I took Spencer's advice and actually swapped in the spare rear shafts I had into the shock bodies in the front (short ones). That gave me more height out in the front (but the same travel). I think it'll be ok. I'll post some naked pics (not of me!!!) later on

I'm going to mess around with the revo sometime so it would be ready to go when I go out.

gotta fix the damn losi too GRRRR

I'll probably add some weight to the 18t too to balance left and right out, the battery still weights it down one side

no this one is outdoor.  Anything goes gas or ele.

it's 1/8 scale track.  Bring your slash and slayer. If you need a spare radio, I have one.

I can't make it today, but what about next tuesday?

Oh sweet! Do they have a website? How late are they open?

I need to get a new throttle servo for the Slayer but besides that it's good to go.

I should be good for next Tuesday, sounds like fun.
