my vote goes towards the clutch.. your OWB shouldn't matter because clutch shouldn't be engaged and it should roll back and fourth

maybe you just melted it?

Possibly, but as I hosed the thing out with WD and Alcohol it got better, so I don't think it's totally done, just pissed off at the salt water/sand I drove it in... lol...

that's disappointing to hear, I was hoping to put some paddle tires and beat my rigs out in the sand. Guess I'll have to come up with a cover of some sort

I took my revo out to pismo, it did ok.  the only issue was the air filter.  A pre filter will fix that right up.

I've ran my TMaxx in Pismo and Glamis many times before and never had a problem, not even with the air filter really. I think the biggest problem with the Slash/Slayer in the sand is the low ground clearance and the small tires, the bigger tires of the Revo and TMaxx help alot.

No I haven't yet. I planned on going Tuesday but didn't make it. I may try to get over there after work today and check it out.

I swapped out the receiver in my Slash last night. Put my 75mhz FM receiver from the TMaxx in it. It should be just about good to go for some spec. class racing now!

Ok, I checked out the track on my way home from work last night. Pretty cool place for sure.

They do not have a specific 1/16th scale class, but there were people there running them in the open practice. I saw two of the little buggies and two trucks. There were also a couple Slash's and a few other random trucks. Even though there isn't a class for the 16's it looks like you could run in the other classes with it since the only one with a limit seems to be the Slash class, but I could be wrong.

We should totally hit up practice one of these nights! It would be cool to get a few people together and bash around the track for a few hours!

If their security won't drive us off that would be cool. They have any dirt there? haha

Looks like they have open practice at the track on Tues, Thurs, and Sat, let me know when you're free we'll go tear it up.
