Hello everyone. Got a problem. (I know we all got problems) Anyone know where you can find the brake backing plates for a 8 lug GM style DANA 44 front axle? I have not saved a million dollars to buy a DANA 60 yet.  I have a D60 rear, and a D44 front, got chevy knuckles, shafts, spindles, rotors, calipers, ect. Texas/Oklahoma salvage yards are a joke. (probably not a regional problem) So... if there is a company pedaling 8 lug GM DANA 44 backing plates, PASS THE GOOD WORD FRIEND! Oh yeah gmguy1@cox.net thanks for any help.  

Not sure of what you are doing here. If you have a 1/2 front drive axle, all you need to do is to swap the hubs from a 3/4 ton as axle is the same from spindles back.
