hi guys,i waz hoping somebody here could give me some advice plz.
ok,i have a ford bronco with a np208 that will not engage 4low(im thinking it could be a bent/worn fork),the linkage looks ok aside from a worn bushing but i dont think thats keeping it from engaging. now i also have a jeep cherokee with a np208 that woks fine(but the jeep itself is dead).
i guess what i want to know is will the jeep np208 just bolt in place of the ford one,and if not what exactly,if anything, can i do to make the jeep np208 work on my bronco.
thanx in advance for any advice

Ford tends to use different splines. Not sure how Jeep would match up here. The Jeep is likely to have Chrysler splines which means it could be 21 or 23.

Like Sno says, Ford an Jeep uses different splines on their shafts. You need to find out your spline count on your Ford output shaft and input shaft of Jeep's 208. Call Advace Adapters for te proper adapter. Now with tha said, it may be cheaper to fix shift rail. See which one's cheaper and run with it.
