I just got the new issue of fourwheeler and the tire test was cool  but i wish they would do a full out comparison of all the tires like hawgs, gumbo mudders, swampers, boggers, claws, exterrains, and dirt grapplers and of some different widths like some narrow and some wide to show really what tires do the best in mud .   also some 52inch tractor tires would be cool too .     Just my opinion        bye

it's pointless to try to compare a radial designed for good hwy manners with high claims of them also being good in the mud to a swamper.

emabrassing is what it would be... its more cost effective to run your 90% hwy miles on the fancy radials and bolt on the spare set of swampers for the weekend so you don'e ruin your wanna be mud grapplers.

Well of course but you can compare rolling resistance, which of course the less you have the better gas mileage.  I think guys still want mud tires or all terrain but still want a daily driver.  We all know more gas we save the less nagging will get about “why do you have to have such a big truck blah blah blah”
