Forward Lighting Leds

Baja Designs, designers of off-road racing lights, now offers a unique, new LED lamp for racers and enthusiasts alike. The new technology is already Baja race-proven and light years ahead of traditional auxiliary lighting in terms of longevity and power consumption. Comparable to the output of popular HID lights, this new offering is as rugged as they come and packaged in a smaller housing. Light output is a brilliant Kelvin color temperature thanks to 18 high-intensity LEDs and an optimized optic diffuser lens. Quick-adjusters make aiming this lamp super-easy.

Whats cool about the hid's and led light systems is less power draw..that could mean more milage from your wagon cause the alternator isnt putting a load as much on the engine to fill battery..maybe???? also the last longer,at least the ones on my big truck did. and think more light output for less amperage from the hid system, thats agood trade in my book, embrace the new tech, and support R AND D SO we can get new and wonderfull toys !

oh i'm all for the new gizmology, i just wish that it was more in my price range......LOL. i'd like to get led tail lights at some point, seen a shoot out article featured in jp about them. it covered replacement bulbs to complete replacements. nice thing about the led's is that they're starting to get more affordable.

I've been testing the Baja Designs LEDs now for 6 months and can say that they are one of the best lights made. They put out a super white light, have 4 different difusers avalable and are super easy to ajust. I just installed on on my Rhino because I know it won't suck down the battery like other lights.

are they as bright as the hid´s though? and do they have the same smooth spread of light? i´ve heard they are bright, but still can´t come to the level of a great hid light!

Yea, they are spendy for sure... I think they are way cool, my only gripe is that they don't project light far enough, they are more of a fog/flood pattern.
