well my problem is i like the toyota body as for the motor and the running gear i live at 7000 feet frequently hauling hay /my road is a 38 degree grade for 2 miles basicly i need somethin with alittle more balls no doubt the 96 tacoma pulls the hill with 2 tons but also at the same time alittle rough on the 3rz 4 banger and i cant seem to find a 4x4 toyota let alone parts for all the rock crawlers runnin around here lol

have been doing mechanics for 20 years /the steering was simple i thought i used the part off the chevy steerinbg box and combined it with the toyota /was the same size shaft/ with the v8 i didnt want too cut the fire wall so the chevy cab mounts worked out as well /my stock 16s sit where the toyota bumper used to be which left a foot in the front for a badass bumper and a winch/ very little cutting involved for my project i will upload pics here in a few days/i said it would take a week by myself 5 days in and just clutch and brakes left which i think im gonna take the master cylinder off the chevy bein it is rated for 3/4 ton /thats tomorrow lol day 7 will be bolting the body down tight and straight
