I built a truggy out of a 1993 4wd chevy suburban, there is no original body left, tube frame and aluminum only. Can anyone out there tell me how to hot wire the front axle to engage the front hubs. Originally it recieved its power from the 4L60e tranny harness. Harness is gone. Help a brother out!

Just apply 12 volts to it. It uses a thermo expansion pill to engage axle. When power is applied it is engaged, when it is removed it disengages.

Yup. 12volts in one side, ground the other, put a switch between it and you're good to go.

Wait... how is the 4L60 operating with out its harness? Or did you swap out drivetrain too.

I have the tranny harness intact, I am just missing whatever was attached to the body harness when I threw it away. Thanks for the get back, Ill try applying direct current to the axle.
