Help needed for UK wheelers...

Hello
I run a 4x4 club in the UK - www.L200.org.uk
We are trying to organise a trip to the West coast of America to combine sightseeing with some wheeling - routes like the Mojave road and others from the 'Backcountry Adventures' books.
We are struggling to find a company to hire 4x4 vehicles from - looking to hire 2 and 4 door Jeeps (or possibly pick-up trucks). We would like to pick up the vehicles in either San Francisco, Las Vegas or LA.
Can anyone assist and/or make any suggestions about this trip ?

Hmm... good question... I don't think I've ever seen a place that rent's 4x4's out here. Maybe try like Avis or Budget and ask for a Jeep, just don't tell them what you are doing with it and get the added insurance...

hi there. I use to work at a rental place. If you are renting in SF, tell them you want to go up to the Mtn to ski and you want a 4x4 just in case
