I'm going with 3/4 ton rear axle conversion in the rear. But the front is an 1982 Stock 10 bolt open diff. i want to do a D44 swap. Is it worth it? Or are some 8 lug outer hubs a better idea. I'm not locking the front, just open diff. 35 inch tires, 700r4, np208, vortec 350.![]()

Not really going to gain anything more than you will with a hub swap.
