well i have taken alot of note on the great addvice i have had from many of you. conclusion..on my 4in lift with 35s i should change out to d 44 and or 60... 14 bolt 10.5 rear. and maybe a t-case and i should have a 4x4 worthy of some mud... am i right or should a do a little more before i hit the heavy mud... you guys are real helpful im glad i joined. its a shame we couldn't have a yearly meet... future maybe *grabs chin as if to be thinking*

with that set up and tires under 37-38 inc your truck should be BEEFY!!! most limit front dana 44 to 35 inc tires but you can get by for some time with 37s or 38s, the rear axle is pretty much bullet proof up to about 44 inc tires and the t case should also do fine with just make sure you gear you axles according to tire size and your truck will be almost unstopable , put in a front dana 60 and its a tank aside from that you really need to put in some sort of steering box frame brace cuz its not a matter of if but when will frame crack, i just noticed a small crack on frame of my blazer last week gootta fix it before i hit the dunes next month
solid axle chevys cant be beat

after you get gears this truck should be indestructable. with thirtyfive inchers. run 4.56s or 4.88s. if you want those 37/38s, run 4.88 to 5.13s
