hi my name is shaun i have a 92 gm truck that i would like to turn to solid axle i also own an 87 chevy 3/4 ton that i would like to use as my donor truck. i know that it is easier to put dodge or ford fronts in but i dont have a whole lot of money and i didnt pay alot for either truck so i would like to make them work together as cheap as possible. any suggestions please let me know

yeah i have checked out that site already i was just seeing if there were any other possible ways of doing this conversion, just wondering if the tcase in the 87 chevy would bolt up to my 700r4 so that i would be able to use the axles in the later one

Tcase should bolt up fine. I know your are considering want to do this cheap but the weakened the frame a lot in 88 on 1/2 tons up front and you need to "do it right" when you do swap and kit helps you with that since you have never done this before. Frame is radically different up front on that truck vs a 87.

You could try contacting them via Email through link I sent and see if it is doable to ship to you. Maybe they have a vendor in Canada near you. It is worth a try anyway.

The easiest way would be with a Ford type axle in front with pig on drivers side to use current Tcase. If you want to use 87 Tcase that you are going to have to fit it is and work out linkages and cross member. The kits are available in a few different offsets for different axle spring pad spacings.
