If there is any other helpfull hints or possible contact persons that may be willing to give me some information I would greatly appriciate it. E-mail me at ryelee@hughes.net.

E-mail sent!! and with the right plan and a strong mind you to could do this. The big thing may be the right land at the right price  but its out there you just have to look for it. The more parks we build the more the states Gov. will take notice that there is a industry in 4wheeling and they are letting it pass by.
Instead of fighting the with us they may decide to offer place to go, to bring tourist to their state and thuss bring income as well.

Looked at a smaller very rough section of proporty and I am awaiting for responce on my offer. only 80 acres but it will all be used. I feel thats better than 150 with 50 that wont get used to much for wheelin. Why pay for it if it isnt what is needed.

I really admire you for starting with a business plan, this is how any business should start. I have a love for the outdoors and for offroading, whether it is on an atv, dirtbike, or in a truck, we have all 3...
I would love to give up my day job (an office manager) of sitting at my desk all day so I can start my own business (preferably an Offroad Park). There are hardly any offroad parks if any in my state and I would love to have the opportunity to create the first real organized area for people to actually go and have fun. I have gotten the through the first few pages of my business plan and just hit a road block, they are so complicated to create, do you have any tips? How did you do yours? What kind of layout did you use? I REALLY need help because I believe this could be a greatly appreciated addition to my area!!!

UP AND BUILDING!!!!!

I submitted my business plan to my Boss/Friend and with a bit of talking ,takeing people out wheelin on the land and showing him to the intrest in a park in mid Mi. its a go. We have started building and hope to start having runs by the mid month. We are located in Harrison MI. next to the Snow Snake ski & golf resort. A name will be decided this week and build runs will start this weekend for donations. When we feel we have enough done for a full opening there will be a $20 a rig entrance fee. We have alot of pics posted on Greatlakes4x4. under trail rides and events. Please take a look. Things are a bit rustic now but will evolve in time.

Paper work started!! I looked over the article again and it is a very good referance to look at in knowing what all needs to be done in a business aspect. The venture is more than drop the dozer blade and call up the freinds. Knowing that it is a business your creating and not just a place to play will help insure it will be fruitfull in time. Thanks again !!!
