Hey whatsup guys I think I might need new control arm bushings and ball joints they have never been replaced and the truck has over 200k miles. So im starting off with these first for my suspension rebuild then Im going to do the shocks. Okay first off Is there any steps I could go about getting these bushings installed?And ball joints I want to be prepared because I only have the weekend to get this done. I know ill need a torch and some scrapers and a torque wrench, basic mechanic tools.I know ill need a alignment right after I just want to know how to take it off so I can replace these bushings Ill be doing the upper and lower control arm bushings.and both side ball joints Anyone thats knows how to do this can you help me out.

Not sure what you need a torch for. Bushing are pressed in and out and ball joints are held in with rivets the you can drill out. (replacements bolt in) You will the a "fork" to split ball joint stud from knuckle.

You'll need a press or one of those C-Clamp style joint presses to get them all out... thats the easiest way.

FourWheeler Web Editor: You'll need a press or one of those C-Clamp style joint presses to get them all out... thats the easiest way.
If you have the room there is another way that works every time and surprisingly simple too.
