Hey hope everyone is alright,  I had just gotten to the top of my ladder and stepped onto a tile roof top.  I thought someone was messing with my ladder at first.   pretty scary being about 2.5 stories up on a steep angled roof.  I just sat down and tried to grip the roof.

I got home and my hi lift fell over in the garage about an inch from the hemi.  2 close calls haha

So tell me kevin, which one were you more worried about? falling off the roof or your truck getting scratched by your hi-lift?

It was pretty crazy here in Irvine, about 15miles away... for as violent as it felt I'm surprised more stuff didn't break.

earthquakes in cali are like hurricanes in florida, it's a big deal if you don't live there when it makes the news and all, but when it is a normal occurance it's not that traumatic. obviously it sucks when damage occurs but just the experience per say is not that bad.

Yeah, the problem with living in the tropics like I do, you tend to get a little to complaciant. The last hurricain that passed I didn't even stop flipping through the channels when they were giving the warnings on TV.

It was a 5.4 and about 28 miles from DTLA - where I was on the 21st floor.
