ok, i have an 84 toyota wich has started leaking coolant from the bottom of the intake manifold, I thought it was leaking from the bypass hoses that run under the intake, but i replaced them andit seems to be coming out of the manifold itself! has anyone had this problem? I havent had time to pull it off but i was hoping if someone had any expierience with this maybe i could get some pointers on fixxing it.

i never had a yota but i think your best bet is just to start from the top and work your way down. check your oil, if its a foamy milky kinda white the coolent leaked into your oil, that would mean your clylinder head isnt sealing right best of luck

It may actually be comming out of your block due to it being cracked. You would deffanatly want to make sure everything is sealed up first and check your oil like the other person had said but if everythign checks good and it is still leaking then your block or head may have a crack in it. I found this link that may be able to help: http://www.aa1car.com/library/coolant_leaks.htm
It takes big nuts to follow us.

thanx for the help and the link, I still need to check it out but at least I havnt found any water in my oil so worst case scenario my intake manifold is cracked (or the outside of the head/block. She will be up and running soon and back in the dirt where she belongs! thanx again
