Recently I bought a '78 Chevy Half Ton Reg. Cab Long Box truck. I put the motor in myself and have recently takin it wheelin. The first thing I realized I needed was rocker panel protection. I've looked on the internet for rock sliders or plans for them but haven't had much luck. I would just make my own, but the fuel tanks make it a little tricky. Also, this truck is full-time 4wd. I have a TH350 in this truck. I also have a 1980 Chevy 1/2 ton parts truck, this also has a TH350, but this one has an NP205, so my question is will this t-case bolt right in place of mine? Any help would be great. Thanks

the trans and transfer case should bolt right up, so you wont have a problem there, as for the fuel tanks just find a blazer tank and drop it in between the frame where it would be on a blazer. I am doing to same becasue the saddle tanks get hung up on rocks and such.
'80 chev stepside,3/4 ton, 4 spd, 40" interco's, crazy flex, and one good driver lol
