I put my ride on this site and assumed that since I'm a member of 2 other sites that they would all just transfer over.  But it doesn't even give me the option to add a ride on the Peterson's site.  Not like it's a huge deal, just curious if and how it's done.

Just to satisfy my curiosity... why did you ask a question about 4-Wheel & Off-Road on Four Wheeler's website? Wouldn't this have been a question for theirs? Just wondering.

But to answer your question, you upload your ride there the same way you did it here. They are not linked and do not carry over.

Just to clarify I like Four Wheeler better, don't get me wrong.  I was just wondering why did I automatically become a member of both when I was just trying to get on Four Wheeler, unless, and this is just me thinking which can be dangerous, they were all linked.  The layout and format is almost identical so even though I know the Magazines are different I wasn't sure if the Web Pages were shared or not.  My bad.  Four Wheeler RULES!!!!!

Ok, I can clarify...

First a question... did you log in to the forums/blogs/rides at 4WOR? That would answer why you are listed as a member there. Your User/Pass will work on all 55+ automotive enthusiast websites that our parent company Source Interlink owns.

While the sites are not linked, they are related. As you could tell they look very similar. In the offroad realm you will also see that 4WD&SUV, Jp, and Off-Road all look similar too.

So yes, while the magazines are different and direct competitors, we are all family. FW is the sister publication of 4WOR, and about 100 other magazines.

Make sense? No? Don't worry, I can barely figure it out still...

Interesting doesn't even begin to describe it.  And I have 3 more years up here. Wish I was in Cali or well anywhere but here.

Oregon is awesome! And their are women there, which is more than can be said for Alaska. I'm convinced that is why people are nuts their. It's not the mountain man in them, it's the lack of women folk... lol

That's why I'm glad I'm married.  I have to say if we wouldn't have got stationed here I never would have chose to come here.  It's only 3 years though, then maybe we'll move to Oregon or back to Indiana.
