i'm running a dana 70 on the rear of my jeep and have disconnected my e-brake at the moment... (no pedal for it in the cab)
has anyone ever tried to setup dual ebrake handles in the cab and run indiviual cables to each side...
basically create manual traction control... i'm probably going to do it just to try it... but i was wondering if anyone else had ever tried it...

I have never done it but know of others that have. I think it is a sweet idea and quite doable.

Yep, I have on a 9.5 14 bolt. the 70 shouldn't be much trouble

Would this be similiar to turning brake set-up similiar to whats in sand rails ??? The concept of what ya want to do has been around for a long time, using the brake to help turn has been used in tractors for years and it works good.

I was going to do this to my blazer, but the only time you would benifit is if one tire is in the air spinning and you pull its lever so the open diff would send power to the wheel that has less traction, if your wheel was just spinning in sand or a rock and you pulled the cable, then the wheel getting the power would have to drag the dead weight of another tire with the brake on. It would be easier (you can install in your driveway) and not very expensive to spend 300 bucks on a powertrax lockright, or detroit truetrac also known as (lunch box lockers) to replace your spider gear assembly, then it will lock like a locker in a straight line or when one tire is off the ground or need to spin at different speeds it sends all power to the wheel that is gripping.
