Hey everyone,

I have an '03 Ranger Edge.  I punctured my gas tank on a recent adventure and I would like to put a fuel cell in the back so it's out of the way.  It has a 4.0L.  I don't think I can use the stock in-tank pump in a cell.  Any help on what psi and gph the stock pump is and what aftermarket pump would feed the engine?  Thanks for any help.

You are really better off to use stock type pump because of pressure and flow. Pressure should be around 70 to 80 PSI. You should get some of the stuff mentioned in link below. It is good stuff will even seal a tank leaking gas badly on the spot. I have used it for many years and once sealed it will never leak again in same spot even many years later.

You can use the stock pump/sender, just takes some work.

Search around on www.dezertrangers.com lots and lots of guys there have done exactly what you are asking.

Or you can go the route I did and use an external pump like an Aeromotive or Pierburg.
