Once I get the Blazer down here from Tahoe, a tranny re-build and possible engine rebuild will be in the works.
Will consider new springs (6" Front/2" Rear), and probably a front locker or winch. Although I'd love to go up to a 37", I'll probably stay with a 35/36 tire to work with the 4.56 gears.
Can't wait to get it on a trail

I try and not drive my truck as much as I used to. Gas is killing me. Other than that, we're still pounding pavement.

I managed to get a bunch of water in my tranny the other day, again, It got hot enough to boil the water and spewed it out all over today, looked like it was on fire! it took a long flush with seafoam and new filter and oil pan to fix, the filter was discontinued for the 03 42rle and upgraded to a new style with a slightly deeper pan and a suction lip on the filter in the center section.. no more hesitation! I think I'll be staying out of the deep water from now on. the water get in through the vent on the front pump, a quick spash is ok, while completely submerged gives the water all the time it need to enter the tranny.
