fatguy4X4:
i just got done with a serious overhaul. i found a great way to improve mpg's and power. i only took half my day but it was so worth it.

i cleaned out all the dad gum trash in the floor and found $2.81, a motley crue cd, 3 durn cigarette lighters, and half of a country ham biscuit. the cd will clean up but the biscuit, unfortunately, could not.

Actually, there has recently been an amendment to the 5 second rule due to the amount of perservatives in food these days. Now it's a 5 month rule, so you should still be good on that there biscuit.

Well...i'm now on my 3rd bronco. I'm just finishing parting out my second one, and am gathering parts for the new one. I'll be building another desert truck. So far for the new one i have Camburg beams and radius arms, Camburg coil buckets, Saw 2.5x10 remote resi shocks, full autofab fiberglass front clip.

I have a whole lot more parts to gather,so it will be a while before i can go out and play.

just realized my tags expired in Jun last night.  So I am parking it until I can get to DMV to yell at them for not sending me my re-newal.  I think I will have to smog this time.  So my guess is I won't pass and I have to finally a big chunk of money into repairs.

Won't do you any good to yell at DMV. They will tell you it is your responsibilty. The mailer is just a courtisy.
Change the oil and get that stuff from Autozone to put in the tank. Should pass.
Plan on paying late fees for overdue reg.

Repairs... I destroyed a staun on the Wrangler already this summer. Waiting for replacement parts.
Broke a mount for the rear brake caliper on the TA, got the parts sitting in the office at home.
Got dash mounted controls for the MileMarker on the Dodge. Same set from 12voltguy that I used on the Wrangler. Sitting in the garage awaiting time to install...

dirtydog, can you take a couple of pics of your milemarker controls, and let me know where you got them from?  I'm interested in getting some for mine, so I don't have to keep running outside inside to control my winch, call me lazy!

I use a wireless control on my transport truck and the jeep, on the truck I can string out 100' of cable and sit inside the car and steer it up onto the truck. it's also a hands free I can operate the winch with my teeth from the drivers seat or safely away from the cable. It works great and will work not only on mile markers, it will operate most any other brand winches.

I get my panels from http://www.12voltguy.com
Solid stuff. Here's the one I used. I can get a picture of it installed after the sun comes up... This control has zero impact on using any other controler, wired or wireless.

You'll be fine Spencer... shoot my truck just passed SMOG a couple weeks ago. Unless you have a CEL on you should skate through just fine...

I think my knock sensor is fracking with my ECU.  It's kicking the truck into safe mode and not generating a CEL.  When it is in safe mode, I can't get over 3 PSI.  I normally get 6 to 7 PSI on WOT.  This only happens when the engine warms up.

I already did my oil change.  If it doesn't pass, I am just going to drop the cash for a full service with Timing chain, new sensors, and a new or reman. Supercharger.

But first I have to get a DD.

We will see.  I am crossing my fingers that I pass.  As much as I like modding my truck, I like my money more.

Then went to Johnson Valley in April. Ran Claw a bunch, then Jack, then some of Sledge, then Wreckingball. Not so many pics from then.

Guys I was with, the Scout broke low range and ran Wreckingball in high range. Did damn well.

The "original" DangerRanger. Who cares if all that's left of a Ranger is 2 feet of frame, the motor and trans.

Going to be up a Rubicon for Labor Day at the Cantina for the 'Con, i'll put up a thread about that in a few.
