i can put it in 4h and 4l with no problems but when i go to drive in either one i have this almost grinding noise it sounds kinda like a trans axel is loose or something in the dif. maybe low on fluid idk. i judt got this and im kinda learning as i go with 4x4. plz help! anything would be much appreciated.

and then when im done with 4wd and put it in 2wd my 4x4 light stays on until i get to about 45mph and then it turns off but hten comes back on when i slow down and as im slowing it sounds like its trying to go back into 4wd from the front of the truck

Is it "push and pray" push button control or manual shift?

its a push button i have to push it down "while the truck is in (N)" to get the transfer case into nutrual or 4l and out but dont have to push it from 4H to 2wd.
