250 TIMBERWOLF not shifting right after oil change PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

hey everybody this seems like a great fourm i am kinda new to owning a four wheeler i just bught my first 4 wheeler this fall it a '' yamaha 250 timberwolf, 1996 '' and its been woken GREAT! but i recently changed the oil and when i did i tiped the four wheelr on the opisite side of the shifter to let the oil drain out and afterwords the shifter semmed sloppy and lose and shifting to 1st gear, and dificult switching other gears. Are he 2 related and if they r wat would do to handle the situation?? and if u no please help!!!! i miss the way it was!!!!! please reply.

OKAY... first of all you don't empty your oil by tipping it over on its side. theres a little bolt shaped thing under the oil tank that you unscrew letting the oil out.. so its a stopper like thing. i have the same type of four wheeler, but its a 91'. but then i got a kawasaki bayou 250 06'. My timberwolf locked up after i put oil in it and i havn't gotten around to fixing it because i would have to overhaul the whole motor.... but about your foot shift. i'm not sure why its like that but it couldn't have been the oil. it was probably something to do when you tipped it on its side. you could try getting it serviced.
