Dang..i was figuring a five gallon reserve,there goes the math..dang and ya just to see how far it would go,ide push it.

Fords average 10% remaining when the light comes on, so that would be 3 gallons like Mud said, but what you're forgetting is that it came on at the beginning of my drive in, so I would have needed 50 miles out of that 3 gallons and at 15mpg average I would be 5 short...

Anyway, ended up taking 27.2gallons making TheRebel the winner with a guess of 27.0.

And actually, looking at it now... I'd say there is closer to a 5 gallon reserve when the light comes on with this tank... there goes my theory.. at least in this case..
