Looking for help on finding late model ranger aftermarket suspention stuff. Has anyone tried the rcd 5" lift? It looks ok, but more for the street than the trail. The only other companies out there I can find for the 4WD's are dixon bros racing and superlift. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated! I'm almost out of steam trying to find stuff for it.

That is pretty much it. The RCD kit is a really good one. Dig into our Project Vehicle archives and you may find some stories from when Project RangeRunner had an RCD kit. RCD is cool because you get coilovers, the downside is that is have very little up travel. The other option is Superlift. This one is a great choice if you want to keep the torsion bars, but the downside is that you keep the torsion bars and they will now hang down lower.
Dixon is a great choice, but a whole nother animal all together.

Thanks. I had been looking at the RCD kit, but wasn't sure how rugged it was. What I would really like to do is combine the superlift and the dixon. I talked to aron at dixon about it and he didn't see any reason it wouldn't work, but nobody's tried it. My thought is the dixon kit gives you the wheel travel and coilovers, so adding the superlift front drop bracket for the lower control arms and filling up the space with their longer spindles would net you around 6" of lift also.... unless there's something I'm totally missing. The only thing I could think of that would require any mod are the coilovers. Either getting longer ones or shorten the top mounting hoops. Deaver said they could build a nice 6" lift pack to go along with it also. A longer driveshaft in the rear and you would be all set. What do you think???
