People want to beleive that there is a magic device that you can add to car to boost MPG a lot and some vendors play this for profit as there is no real regulation in this area so they exploit it.

I love the Fitch Fuel Catalyst. I tested it on our project Everyday Titan, a '03 Cummins diesel and a Jeep Liberty CRD and found positive results. I agree with Mr Snow about being skeptical about such products and claims, but in my case I did real world testing and gathered data. It worked for me. The results I found were: 1.7 MPG gain average on the Nissan Titan 5.6L .9 MPG gain average on the Liberty CRD .6 MPG gain average on the Dodge Cummins This testing was done by myself using only Chevron and Texico fuels. I put 21,988 miles on the Dodge Ram My girlfriend put 13,467 miles on the CRD I put 14,688 miles on the Nissan Titan. all data collected was tracked and logged at each fill-up on a clipboard in the vehicle. The majority of these miles were HWY.
You can do anything you dare to dream.

Were was the "Control" sample in that you drove same route same way with and without device? Not trying to be a pill here but you can see a MPG change with season and fuel quality. My cars all get better MPG if I do not use 87 in them.

i would like to see a magazine article that features someone who doesn't work for that magazine or a vehicle not owned by the magazine test this product, that would be awesome.

I agree, that would take the bias opinion out of the equation. I also agree with Snoman, when you test the product you need some type of control. You need same route, conditions, and very important is the same driver. Driving habbits are a big equation in fuel consumption.

I have found that "just backin' off the pedal" a bit works wonders!! As many of you can imagine, this has been a major undertaking for me and my right foot( it has a mind of its own). But I have actually done well as of late, and it has made for some good results.

My son still has not quite figured that one out and he has been at it for several years now too. He is paying for it too big time. I think he is starting to get the message though.

i have gone through and checked a few things on the f150 to maximize milage, along with altering driving habits: 1) tire pressures.... 2) spark plug replacement...they were due 3) plug wires...they were original @ 150000+ miles 4) K&N filter 5) throttle body spacer (will b installed this week) 6) Last but not least....OUR TRUSTY FRIEND.....SEAFOAM engine treatment, to knock out all the carbon buildup and clean injectors.
