I am thinking of trading for a 79 Scout II. The ring and pinion in the rear end are ate up. The owner told me it had a Dana 44 in it. If I get it I was just going to try to find another rear end instead of just replacing the ring and pinion, can anybody tell me what other rear ends will bolt up in the Scout. I really don't know that much about them.  

Another Scout rear axle. Not aware of anything else that will bolt it. People use Scount axles when they need narrow upgrade axle for other 4x4's
