Not really my style, but it can be done. Just swap in a transmission/transfer case and run solid, leaf sprung axles.

My current ride(s):
1991 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer 4x4
2002 Subaru Outback Rocky Mtn. Edition

Thanks to the Jeep Cherokee guys out there, we have a bunch of Explorers with no rear axles!

That reminds me, there's a guy that sometimes shows up at the fair with a Ford Mustang on some sort of shortened for pickup frame. Possibly a Ranger, although I really don't know for sure.

The lifted cars that I have seen have all been ones with frame rails welded under the origional ones and then all of the suspension and drive components mounted under the second set of frame rails.

It takes big nuts to follow us.

Seen some dude in missoula has a nissan pathfinder on its jhap frame, then he has that sitting on top of a K5 frame w/full running gear and what looks to be 38 boggers. It looks kinda hoky.

This type of car/truck was really popular in the 80's.  I remember seeing them mud boggin'.

There is a guy that recently took it to the next level.  He built a Trophy Car - 1967 Camaro that runs Trophy Truck class in SCORE.

It's bad ass.

That would be the "Zorro" Trophy Truck, it's not new, he's been running for many many years.
