PICS ON EBAY

This is a 1998 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT 4X4, with only 72,000 original miles. It has a custom-built 2.5 foot lift, 44" Super Swamper tires, 15x12 Weld Racing wheels, DVD/mp3 player w/LCD TV monitor + 3 TVs (2 built into sunvisors and 1 drop-down 8" Clarion monitor in the center of the cab), 1000W Kenwood amp with booming JL Audio 12” sub built into center seat, perfect spray bed liner, Grizzly triple/double chrome roll bar with 5 chrome 100W lights, functional Twin Scoop hood intake, Flowmaster dual side exhaust w/oversized tips, Nerf bars, chrome side step and bed bars, 2 sets of front fog lights, steel side moldings, chrome tailgate cover, dark window tint, “Dukes of Hazzard” Musical Horn, and much, much more.

The all-leather interior is in excellent condition, and the truck is in great mechanical condition. It has easily won trophies in truck shows, most recently at the Dallas Bull. $30,000 in extras, NADA value is about $10,000. You couldn't build this truck for under $40,000. I'm asking $16,995 OBO. PRICE JUST REDUCED! Please make an offer, I've got to sell this truck!

•  The lift before tire height is about 2.5 feet.

•  From the ground to the roll bar lights the truck stands over 9 feet tall.

•  It has been taken care of, and is in great mechanical condition. Ice cold air. Interior condition is excellent. It has never been in an accident.

•  There are only a few cosmetic blemishes that can be pointed out when you take a look at the vehicle. No dents, mechanical issues, or anything broken. Just a few cosmetic blemishes that can be easily fixed. I will detail them below.

•  I have never taken this truck off-roading or mudding; it has only been a show truck and driven on pavement.

•  This truck is a ready-made monster mudder! No time spent on rebuilding or refurbishing before you can be riding tall on the road, tearing up a mud hole, or dazzling others in truck shows! This truck is equal height with 18-wheelers! Drivers of semi trucks are EYE LEVEL! Easily the tallest truck around, I've never seen a truck in shows around here that is as tall.

Some of the styling to the truck includes:

• 4 Weld Racing Crusher Series Wheels

• Twin Scoop Ram Air Hood (w/dual intake into engine)

• 4 Super Swamper 18.5/44-15LT Tires

• Tri-Star Stainless Steel Rear Bumper

• Front Air Dam (beneath bumper)

• Stainless Steel Tubular Grille Inserts + Bumper Inserts

• Grizzly Triple/Double Roll Bar, Kicker Behind Wheel

• Grizzly Light Bar w/5 Chrome 100W Lights

• Immaculate Line-X Spray-On Bed Liner

• Westin Nerf Bars

• Chrome Oval Side Step Bars

• 4X Flare Fender Flares

• Lund Moonvisor

• Mosfet Motorized DVD/mp3/CD player

• Two 7” Monitors built into sunvisors

• Clarion Overhead Overhead LCD Monitor

• Kenwood 1000W Amp

• JL Audio Sub in Custom Box, built into center seat

• Mopar OEM Fog Lights

• High-Beam Air Dam Fog Lights

• Mopar 2” Bed Rails

• Stainless Steel Side Moldings

• Putco Stainless Steel Tailgate Cover

• Putco Stainless Steel Bed Top Guards

• “Dukes of Hazzard” Dixieland Musical Horn

• Dodge Ram Chrome Fuel Door

• Dark Window Tint & Ram Etch Designs

• Flowmaster Side Exhaust System w/Oversize Tips

That's $12,700 in extras, not including cost of the lift, and BEFORE taxes, painting, and installation costs!

• LIFT: CUSTOM-BUILT 2 ½ FOOT LIFT – THEY DON’T MAKE KITS THIS BIG! A 12” suspension lift kit will cost you around $8,000 before installation. This lift was estimated to be worth $13,000-$15,000 before installation cost by folks who work at local 4x4 stores.

• That’s OVER $30,000 in extras easily! To buy and build, this truck would be more than $40,000!!! What’s best is everything is already done to this truck, at less than half the price! You can buy a monster mudder truck, ready to go, no effort needed before you are cruising high!

FAQ's:

1) Why am I selling this truck?

I am moving to Miami for graduate school and cannot take this sexy beast with me. I'd have no place to put it, and since I'll be gone for four years, it will sit unused if I leave it in Tampa. Plus, money is getting tighter as college expenses build up and loan payments add up! It was my hobby truck; there will hopefully be another one someday!

2) Are there any problems with the truck?

In the grand scheme of the vehicle, any problems it has pale in comparison to the fact that it cost over $40,000 to build and it will be sold for much less than half that. But, here goes...

A) The front two tires will need to be replaced within 5,000 miles. The back tires are almost new. However, I haven't replaced the front two because most people who have looked at the truck have all had different ideas of what kind of tires they'd put on it, so I haven't spent the money to replace these in case the buyer will want a whole new type of tire.

B) Clear coat blemishes - there are some places on the front bumper, hood, and roof in which the clear coat has started to come up. I've removed the dead parts of it and waxed over it. They aren't a big deal to me, just letting you know. I would imagine Maaco or someone like that could replace the clear coat in these spots easily and inexpensively. There's also a few scratches in the lower left front bumper valence and one on the back of the tailgate; again, small cosmetic blemishes.

C) Mechanically, I have maintained this truck as best as possible. Anything that has worn out, I've replaced in a timely fashion. It has just had ALL fluids and filters changed, including transmission fluid, oil, power steering, etc, and a full tune-up. I even decided to replace the steering gear box because the tires tend to wear gear boxes out over time. The new one should last and shouldn't need replacing. The only thing I'd point out is that since the tires are so huge, the truck doesn't have super fast acceleration from rest. It gets going just fine and can be taken on the interstate without problems. It's a show truck, a hobby truck, or a mudding truck, and between that and gas costs these days, it might not make the best primary vehicle.

D) There is no front driveshaft in the vehicle right now. The lift is so big that the stock driveshaft didn't come close. I knew I wouldn't need to use one since the truck was just a show truck for me and I'd never take it mudding. If a buyer is interested in the truck and would desire a front driveshaft, there is a place here in town that makes them from scratch for an extremely reasonable price. Feel free to ask about it if you'd like to discuss it. I wish I would be available to help put one in, but I've actually already in the process of moving and would be happy to help coordinate, but won't have time to actually do the work.

Any other questions, please feel free to E-mail me at FazaUSF@yahoo.com and ask!

This truck is a beauty, a show-stopper, crammed full of toys and extras. I am quite sad to have to sell it, but my school endeavors have to take precedence right now. I hope somebody will enjoy it as much as I have!

Also, no trades please. I can't take a trade with me to school if I can't take this truck!
