Trying to change the rear shocks on my 88 s10 blazer and wouldn't you know, the shock bolt broke off when we tried to get it off. How do I fix this? Come on guys, help this girl out!! You guys are mechanics and work on your rides right?? Well the bolt broke off on the bottom of the shock mount on the rear of my s10 blazer, do I need to weld it (after I get the shock off and a new one on) or do i try to find a new bracket? Help me out here??!!

if the bracket broke, weld it.. if the bolt broke, the local hardware store has what you need... stripped? break out the grinder...

Thanks for the help! The stud is made onto the bracket. May have to just weld it!
