I have a 1982 model Chevrolet 3/4 ton longbed and im gonna be puttin a 12in. Off Road Designs lift on it and want to put some 44x21x15in MEATS on it and I was wondering how I can go from a 16x10 8lug to a 15x14 8lug with the correct backspacing to clear my brakes. WHAT WOULD THE CORRECT BACKSPACING BE??? 2 3/4 ?? And what type of wheel and where should I get em from ? Bart Monsters ? THANKS YAW !!

YOU HAVE TWO WAYS TO FIT THE 15S ON YOUR TRUCK. THE LOWER GVW 3/4 TONS HAD 11 INCH BRAKES AND ROOM FOR 15 INCH WHEELS, BUT THAT WOULD BE A STEP BACKWARDS. AN OTHER OPTION WOULD BE TO SWAP TO DISC BRAKES USING 3/4 TON FRONT ROTORS AND SEVILLE CALPIERS. KITS FOR THIS ARE EVERY WHERE. THE LATE MODEL ROTORS FOR THE NEWER CHEVYS THAT SLIDE ONTO THE HUB MAY SET THE BRAKES INBOARD EVEN MORE, I HAVENT HAD A CHANCE TO CHECK YET. YOU MIGHT HAVE TO GRIND THE TOP OF THE CALIPERS TO CLEAR THE WHEELS, MORE FOR AN ALLOY, SINCE THEY ARE THICKER IF CAST.

i would just take a good grinder and grind on the caliper. you dont have to take much off the caliper it dosnt however hurt the strength so dont be worried about that.
Quit wearin your wife's panties and go through it already!!!! lol
