i bought a 1995 ford f-150 for 800$ and wanna use it for the mud but it has electronic  4x4 is this garbage ???? thanks for your help

All "push-n-pray" push button control 4x4 drive system can be troublesome with age and it is not Just Fords either.  A bigger concern is TTB front axle which is far from the best front drive axle to use for serious play.

i got a 95 of my own....5.0L i beat the hell outta my 4x4.......the push button seems to work pretty well but that may be because i got warn manual lockouts as opposed to the stock auto locks

Some say it is and some disagree. My dad had a 92 F150 with push button and never had a single problem with it. It was even a farm truck. He traded it in with 325,000 miles on it. I would run it till its broke then go manual, that's what I would do.
