the 2 1/2" suspension should be more than plenty for 33's. i would not bother with a body lift....more trouble than anything.

The fords have pretty big wheel wells so scratch the body lift and go for the susp lift...youll be happier knowing you dont have to screw with linkages and radiator relocating.

Take my word for it, a 4 inch lift will be perfect and worth it. I had a 96 F150, installed the 2.5 and 33s and at high angles it rubbed a bit. It will not only perform better but it will look better too.

It wasn't to hard, I did it in my driveway in about 12 hours. That's lift, shocks, brakes lines, pitmen arm, and mounting the tires and wheels. The biggest pain is going to be the cutting off the stock brackets up front, but it's not too bad. Although, the TTB will be good enough for mild and modate wheelin, a staight axle swap would deffinently be better. I kept the TTB cause it was cheaper for me at the time.

To Tonto_2007: Yes, if it is a F150. If you want to run 33 inch tires, go with 4.10s for mild offroad or 4.56 for tougher offroad. Look into your warrenty, if you lift it, it may void it. I would suggest taking it to the same shop for the diff work and maybe the lift too.

Randy's Ring and Pinion, 4wheelparts.com, look in an offroad magazine. They'll have what you are looking for.
